The new Cherry Red Initium Gourmet table water filter from BWT

Cherry Red is the name of the new bright red gourmet table water filter in the Initium line from BWT. Its design and colour not only reflect the summer trend: Cherry Red also meets consumers' high standard regarding the quality of their drinking water. Unique Mg2+ technology from BWT enriches the filtered tap water with magnesium, an essential mineral, softening it and transforming it into perfect water. Additionally the jug has a convenient electronic filter change indicator and a new Easy-Fill feature making it easy to fill the filter with water. The trendy 2.5 litre Cherry Red will be available from retail outlets at the end of June.


Impressive technology

Following the success of the white Initium gourmet table water filter, BWT - Europe's No. 1 in water technology - has now launched Cherry Red, a trendy additional colour version in time for the summer. Independent consumer tests confirm that water filtered with BWT tastes delicious. The filter cartridge lies at the heart of every BWT gourmet table water filter: its patented Mg2+ technology filters the water and enriches it with valuable magnesium. By itself, the filtered water has a soft gourmet taste, and is also ideal for making tea or coffee.


Design for more convenience 
The BWT Initium gourmet table water filter not only looks good, but is also practical. It is dishwasher safe and fits all standard fridge doors. An integrated electronic timer automatically gives timely warning of an impending filter change. Filling the table water filter from the tap is child's play, thanks to BWT's new Easy-Fill feature - a handy filling flap.

Full attention at the point of sale

As part of the nationwide BWT campaign "Become a water gourmet", the product's launch is accompanied by attractive concepts for partners and extensive retail activities. These include POS screens for attractive shelf designs for retailers, wobblers and informative flyers devoted to the subject of water. "Consumer research surveys indicate that almost 80 percent of all purchase decisions are made at the point of sale," expains Stefan Scheurer, Managing Director of BWT water+more GmbH. "That is why we have once again focused on our retail presence with staffed activities and large water-tasting stands when launching the Cherry Red."
