BWT at Ambiente 2016:

Perfect water enjoyment in Frankfurt!

In view of tremendous success on the market and the growing significance of BWT in the consumer segment, Europe's Number 1 in water technology will be exhibiting at this year's AMBIENTE in Frankfurt from 12 to 16 February 2016. The objective is to familiarise a broad public audience with the magnesium success story which underpins the BWT Magnesium Mineralizer table-water filter and innovative filter solutions for the kitchen and bathroom.

 

BWT Consumer Division restructured
Resulting from BWT Group's newly acquired majority interest in "Mettem Technologies" group of companies, the water experts from Mondsee are looking at tremendous future opportunities and huge growth potential. With its "BARRIER" brand, Mettem Technologies is the market leader for drinking-water filters in Russia, one of the world's largest markets. To boost sales and remain independent of developments in the industry, BWT's consumer business will be operating under the newly established BWT BARRIER Europe GmbH from 1 January 2016.

Sustainability: avoid plastic waste and save money
Water is our most important food, and is now purchased mainly in plastic bottles. As a consequence: around 800 million PET bottles are in circulation every year in Germany alone. An almost unimaginable mountain of plastic waste.
